Hello I'm Marcelina and completely hopelessly addicted to books, as I know most of you are. I read/try to read across all different genres but I've noticed my reading taste to be in high fantasy, sci-if, and historical fiction. I can't really do contemporary reads cause I prefer being immersed in other worlds.
I think that I've got the hang of GR because I'm an active moderator to two of my favorite groups on here: "For Love of a Book" and also "Owls be Reading". I am part if more groups than I can humanely keep track of, even though I spend all of my days online. Hopefully, because I already know some I the people and mods of this group I'll decide to stick around.

Welcome Marcelina!! I used to read sci -fi/fantasy. I still pick up an epic fantasy every now and again. I have a few groups that I am part of also. It used to be just 3, then I became a mod and all hell has broken loose. I will check out your groups but I'm pretty fussy about my genre.

Vampires are always fun and I enjoy the demented ones in darker fiction, the funny ones in comedy mysteries, and the sexy ones in romances. One size doesn't fit all, and I'm happy about that =)
My favorite genre is Urban Fantasy but I read most genres.

I usually like the ones that have recipes in them, like the Joanne Fluke books. I also enjoyed a few by Sylvia Selfman. They are just a quick, fun read while I wait for my next free book from Amazon Prime for the month. ;)

Hello loves! my names Deleana, most just call me nae nae. I actually have never been a fan a reading due to my struggle with dyslexia. after my mom passed from breast cancer in 08' (I was a new mommy myself) an needed the mental escape, I started reading an became obsessed! I love anything vampire, fairy, witch or wizard, werewolf and the list goes on but most of my collection is definitely vampire :) how can you go wrong. so glad I came across from this site, I've seen it before but haven't joined. I finally became a member 2 weeks ago eeeeek!

Hi my name is Mandy. I've always been a reading addict - it started with general kids books like Enid Blyton etc, I moved onto Tolkien when I was 10/11 then fantasy/scifi. These days it's generally paranormal with some general contemporary fiction. For a little light relief I read something with SEALs or billionaires. I like vampires/shifters/dragons/magic. I'm trying to be better at reviewing books and now put the same reviews on Amazon/Goodreads/my own book review blog. Looking forward to finding some suggestions for good books to read.

Not long ago I got into to YA. I thought I wouldn't be able to get into it and enjoy it, but so far so good.

Hello. My name is Daniella and I love to read and watch horror, among other things. I joined this group because I want to branch out of my "norm" which is basically old classics. Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of contemporary favorites except Rice and King, so I am here for suggestions - please, send me contemporary horror/fantasy authors you think I'll like. I have given several contemporary authors a chance, but I absolutely hated them so I do not want to post who I've read. It's not fair to give such harsh criticism to authors who have worked so hard to write novels just because I'm horribly picky. But I am willing to give modern authors another chance!Thanks
