Michael Burton Hello Everyone,

My name is Michael Burton and I am the author of the legal thriller series, Croker Diaries. I just released my third book, a standalone, entitled Unforeseen Justice.

Unforeseen Justice by Michael Burton

Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Unforeseen-Just...

Attorney Mark Baxter woke up with a splitting headache trying to remember what happened the night before. His drinking had gotten to the point that he was suffering blackouts every night. The only thing he could recall were images of a horrific reoccurring nightmare of a small girl being raped by Mark's father, but does this have any significance?

Later that morning, Mark learns an ex-girlfriend has been murdered and he is the number one suspect.

As the investigation heats up, a second girlfriend is found murdered and Mark has no recollection what happened the night before. The evidence begins to mount against Mark and he is arrested for the murder of both women. He is starting to believe he may have committed both murders. Now faced with the possibility of the death penalty and a very aggressive district attorney, Mark hires his ex-commander from the Air Force as his attorney to save his life. Together they have to put on a defense that only the most skilled attorneys can do, but is it enough?

Unforeseen Justice takes the reader through the surprising twists and turns of trial and an ending you won’t see coming.

I am certain you will enjoy it.

Cheers,

Michael Burton

Even a con-man, with a built in disguise, higher than average intelligence, and training by one of the Cold War’s best operatives, has their bad days. Especially when fate, rears its ugly head at almost every turn. A wife, who gets a bill killed in the Senate, to keep him from going to jail. Or when the conman picks a location to disappear, only to find that, who is trying to hide from, is already there. Add in a proud homicide unit with a perfect record to maintain. The totally chance arrival of a highly experience investigator, arriving for her annual vacation with her family, one of whom just happens to be the Senior Homicide Detective on the Island. Plus local merchants, who remember things that just don’t seem to be right, and sometimes the deck gets so stacked, that even the best con-man can’t get a good hand.

H.A. Raynes Hi all!
My novel NATION OF ENEMIES is being released by HarperCollins and Witness Impulse 8/18 and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon and all major booksellers.

The blurb:

A chilling, suspenseful new thriller in the vein of Michael Crichton and James Rollins.

It’s all about the genetics. DNA. Black & white.

A decade ago the U.S. government mandated that all citizens be issued biochips containing all of their medical information and an I.D. number indicating a person’s health. Then they made the information public—the implications of which are wide-spread and devastating.

Now on the eve of the 2032 presidential election, the country is deeply divided and on the brink of civil war. But as the two major political parties face off, innocent Americans are dying at the hands of masked terrorists. When the Liberty Party’s presidential nominee is assassinated in a highly-coordinated, masterful attack, it sets off a chain of events that will change the course of history and leave America’s inalienable rights—life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness—dangling on the precipice of extinction.

Steven Clark Steven J. Clark's new legal thriller, Wages of Greed, is listed for a GR giveaway, beginning on July 1 through the 20th.

The book is a John Grisham meets Tony Hillerman-style legal thriller filled with suspense, romance and heart-stopping action. It pits Danny Whitehorse, a young Navajo attorney, against a giant oil company who has been cheating Indians on the reservation out of royalties on gas wells that have been drilled on their land. When Whitehorse files a lawsuit against the company it unleashes the very bells of hell against him. He quickly finds that his greatest challenge isn't to win the lawsuit, but to simply stay alive long enough to get it to court.

The book dishes up a liberal helping of Navajo culture and traditions and a fascinating glance into how natural gas fields operate. Wages of Greed is suitable for ages 15 and above

From murderous nightmares to mysterious disappearances, from boisterous Munich to the burning sands of Saudi Arabia, the once-idyllic lives of two men, unknown to each other, are suddenly completely catapulted into a terrible upheaval from which there seems to be no escape.

Groovy Lee Hello, Everyone:

I would like to add my first Kindle suspense:

Cause She's a Good Girl by Groovy Lee

CAUSE SHE'S A GOOD GIRL

I really love the reviews I've received here on Goodreads, and on my website: http://www.groovylee.com

You can always contact me here or at atreyhu@att.net. I'd love to hear your comments or answer any questions. Thanks!

SYNOPSIS: Piper Banion spent most of her eighteen years trying to do the impossible—gain her abusive mother’s love. But the older she gets, the more she realizes that a parent’s undying love is something you don’t have to vie for, compromise your principles for, nor beg for in your prayers. Connie will always see her as a “worthless burden”. Still, it was hard making that life-altering decision that freed Piper from the chains of her defective childhood.

After five years of wandering from one small town to the next, she finds a true friend in Shelly Jamison, a runaway mom, slash, devout party girl, and outspoken rebel against the rich and powerful—her family included. Following the not-so-surprising pink slips they received one Monday, coupled with the alley fight between her and Shelly’s boy-toy, Tomas, Piper finally gives in to her friend’s invitation to spend the summer at her family’s estate in Destin, California. At last, she gets to meet Shelly’s S.E.X.Y. cousin Oz Jamison.

Oz owns a PR firm in Seattle, Washington. Hardly a day goes by that he can’t turn a corner without being asked those headache-provoking questions: “Are you Prince? Would you sign my Purple Rain DVD? Touch my copy of your latest CD? Better yet, touch me instead?” With skin the color of smooth vanilla, and the sensual glint in those caramel-brown eyes, even a pledged virgin like Piper has to fight off the lure of his sexuality. She opts instead for a friendship based on their shared abusive backgrounds while he house-sits for his aunt and uncle during the summer.

Piper is determined to forge a better life in California, but the collective cries of nine murdered women reaching out to her from those weekly news bulletins suspends that task. Someone is killing all the women she comes into contact with, and that's where the connection ends. Her “pureness” seems to be the trump card that enables her to walk away from the rage that consumes him and the lives of his unsuspecting victims. But the next time they meet, a head start is all she’ll get.

In the chaos off trying to get away, she learns that Shelly has disappeared. A muffled voice over the phone claims responsibility; And it’s not the Silk Stocking Serial Killer who’s daring her to come rescue her friend.

Jorge Magano Hi everybody!

I'm Jorge Magano from Spain. Last year my book TURNED TO STONE (published in Spain as LA MIRADA DE PIEDRA) won the first Amazon Contest for Indie Authors. This month will be available in English, so I'd like to introduce it to all of you.

"Spanish journalist and art historian Jaime Azcárate has always been a magnet for trouble. So when the authorities call on him to help investigate a museum heist while he’s enjoying a rare vacation, he is more annoyed than surprised. Jaime brushes off the detectives’ pleas to find a missing and reportedly cursed Medusa sculpture, until an attempt on his life pulls him into the investigation.

With nowhere else to turn, Jaime reaches out to the only person in the world who can help: Paloma Blasco, the ex-girlfriend with whom he authored an article on the priceless statue. The pair must put their differences aside as they travel from Greece to Sardinia to find the Medusa—before the curse claims another victim."

I hope you enjoy the reading!

Drachen by Brendan Le Grange

Readers’ Favorite gave Drachen 5 stars and called it “a fast-paced and enthralling adventure tale filled with secret passageways, puzzles, codes and clues... with the action beginning on page one and steadily continuing on from there.”

Brett Rivera has spent three years searching for the Drachen. The day she finds it is the day her life changes: there is no sign of its legendary treasure and now a cold-blooded killer is hunting her. What does he know that she doesn't?

She is chased in Finland, double-crossed in Tallinn, abducted in Lübeck, and shot at in Bremen as this action-packed thriller dashes across northern Europe, barely pausing for breath.

A shipwreck. A lost treasure. A hell of a race from one to the other.

Although Drachen is only out on 31/08/2015, 6 copies are currently available in a pre-launch giveaway (https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...).

How it works: Books are judged by the blurb and first three chapters. You can nominate up to three books at a time to be published. If you choose to nominate our book and if it is selected by Amazon you will receive a FREE PRE-RELEASE COPY a week before publication.

The book is about a haunted bridge, a crying woman, and a missing baby. It looks as if Rae Harris has thrown her baby over the bridge in a fit of despair, but she claims it was stolen...by a vengeful spirit! Or did a flesh and blood person take the baby?

Since it is not yet published I can't link to the image but you can view the cover on the Kindle Scout link. I think our artist did a wonderful job!
