Hello Everyone!
I just published my first book and I'm excited to share it with you all. The Darkest Winter is about a man's journey to safety after a cyber-terrorist attack cripples the East Coast power grid.
It's full of memorable characters a taut action, things I'm sure everyone in this group looks for and loves!
I've gotten great feedback so far and thank you for your consideration.

I'm Gabriel and my debut novel The Mother of all Things is a psychological thriller/horror with plenty of mystery and suspense. It is now available on Kindle Unlimited. I'm very proud of it. Why? A Story Of—-Sex, Murder, and oh yes—Love

A Review
Drama, erotica, passion, suspense; they are all here.
A bipolar plot pitted with oodles of painful depravity, a collection of which can only be found in the depths of London's underworld. Yet the power of love shines through, supplying blanket after fluffy blanket of beautiful romance.
Such a lover!
A man for all seasons and reasons, but with a heart for only one woman.
What a woman!
Sigh.......A five-star romance with a beautifully and poetically crafted ending which will tear your heart-strings to shreds.

My book In the strictest Confidence is free to download via Amazon from 29th October - 2nd November 2018 inclusive. I hope you love it and if you do that you shout about it (very loudly please). If you don't like it, whispering will suffice. ;-)
Counsellor Francesca 'Frankie' Wilson, divorced mother of two, lands her dream job at ASF Technologies. Is she as lucky as she seems? From the very first day things start happening to her—bad things! Who is responsible and why? Could it be one of her clients?
Stephen Lime, who appears to hate women and is keeping a secret.
Isabelle Toms, a profoundly deaf tester, who feels lonely and isolated, within an organisation where no one else can use sign language.
Verity Froom, who dresses like a woman far beyond her years, suffers from ill health, but who refuses to visit a doctor.
David Shaw, who's young and handsome, but who has just lost his wife to a hit and run driver, and is devastated by grief.
Or is someone else responsible?
** I warn you that it ends on a cliffhanger. But, it's OK because I've written the sequel, In the Absence of a Body (also available on KU).**

THE ABSOLVER: ROME
"Who delivers Last Rites to the greatest evils that walk among us?"
------
Right now a team of Godly men stands ready. Positioned around the globe, they are called to protect us from the deadliest predators on Earth.
"As he plunged his attacker’s blade deep into the man’s abdomen, Father Michael Thomas thought he understood the difference between murder and justifiable homicide.
After Church officials learn what happened in that dark back-alley amid the slums of Bogota, they urgently whisked Michael away to an isolated compound in rural Wyoming.
Alongside a handful of trainees, he lives under an assumed name, learns the skills of a moral investigator and clandestine operative, and faces the ethical dilemma repeatedly placed before him: when is a deliberate death a righteous act?
As Michael struggles to answer the question for himself, he fears the faction is hiding secrets of its own and will stop at nothing to protect itself from even the slightest perception of betrayal.
Even if they let him walk away with his life, will Michael get to take his conscience with him?"

My latest novel, Rituals of the Dead: An Artifact Mystery, is now only 99 cents on Amazon COM until November 8!
Transport yourself to the Netherlands and Papua to solve a 50-year-old mystery… For readers who enjoy crime fiction, history, travel and thrillers.
It is also available as audiobook (WhisperSync for Voice ready), paperback and in the Kindle Unlimited library.
Stolen artifacts, a missing anthropologist and a tenacious amateur sleuth.
When museum intern Zelda Richardson stumbles upon a missing explorer's journal, she gets pulled into a world of shady anthropologists, missionaries, headhunters and smugglers – where the line between good and evil is blurry at best, and the only certainty is that sins of the past are never fully erased.
Join Zelda as she grapples with the anthropologist’s mysterious disappearance fifty years earlier, and a present-day murderer who will do everything to prevent her from uncovering the truth.
This captivating dual timeline thriller is set in the Netherlands and Papua.
Here’s what Goodreads reviewers are saying:
“If you’re looking for a mystery jam-packed with art and history, look no further.”
“The pace is fast without being hectic; the intrigue unfolds steadily, sustaining the reader’s interest to the very end.”
“I have continued with this series from the very beginning, and it just keeps getting better. Zelda keeps getting stronger as a character.”
“Fans of mystery and crime will definitely enjoy this book.”
“Really good pace… I love book that spark an interest in something long after you put the book down.”
“All in all, this is a very satisfying mystery that left me with much to ruminate on.”
“Rituals of the Dead is a tense mystery thriller that combines the sedate world of Dutch museums with a decades-old murder on the far side of the world.”
“You will be on the edge of your seat wondering if Zelda will take one risk too many as well as wishing to discover what actually happened to Nicholas Mayfield. A thoroughly good read.”
“Alderson has a unique gift for taking a setting that should be incredibly tranquil, and smoothly weaving in the oddities that make her case until the calm of the academic atmosphere is well and truly overturned.”

My crime thriller Darwin’s Tulip is out. There are thousands of thrillers out there, so it is natural to ignore most. I firmly believe, however, that Darwin’s Tulip is worth your time.
To keep this concise, I will give two reasons: 1) Nearly dying at age 15 and experiencing life on three continents provided me with more substance to draw upon than most authors. 2) Blurred lines between right and wrong are so common in fiction. Less common is something that really lets you appreciate what is lost forever in every murder: an unimaginably complex biological artwork, perfected over billions of years.
Thank you for your time. If you choose to read Darwin’s Tulip, I hope you enjoy it!

This is my debut novel. If you read it, please let me know what you think by leaving a review or rating.
Perfect for fans of Peter James, Stuart MacBride and Mark Billingham, Jack's Back is a fast paced thriller with an explosive finale.
It’s been one hundred and eleven years since Jack the Ripper terrorised the gas lit streets of Victorian London, but now the grisly killings have started all over again.
When the mutilated corpse of a local prostitute is discovered on a building site in Whitechapel during the early hours of Sunday 31st October 1999, it quickly becomes apparent to DCI Jack Tyler and his team of homicide detectives that someone has taken up the Ripper’s mantle and is seeking to emulate the terrible atrocities that gained his namesake such notoriety.
‘Be afraid. This is only the start. Jack’s back…’The chilling message, left by the killer on a wall near the body, and written in the victim’s own blood, catapults the detectives into a race against time as they strive to discover the New Ripper’s identity and stop him from striking again. With his every move being closely monitored by the media, and the top brass at the Yard breathing down his neck to get a quick result, Jack Tyler begins to worry that if he doesn’t catch the killer soon, the case will be taken away from him and his career will be left in tatters.
Jack's Back, the debut novel by former homicide detective, Mark Romain, is a fast moving and gritty crime thriller that pits DCI Jack Tyler against a modern day serial killer, a psychopath who is convinced the original Ripper was an occultist, and that the murders he committed, far from being random, were a series of sacrificial rituals designed to bring him power and influence.

“A Texas attorney defends a 16-year-old cheerleader accused of patricide. Stan goes to court for a restraining order that Marjorie Monroe filed to keep her alcoholic husband, Frank,...away from their adoptive teenage daughter, Melody. Before divorce papers can be served to Frank, he ends up dead in his garage, but not from carbon monoxide, as was first assumed...Arrows point to Melody,...the heir to Frank’s fortune...The author’s experience as an attorney helps make the trial scenes both realistic and tense...Readers’ blood may run cold while enjoying this taut murder mystery.” – Kirkus Reviews

I’m No P.I. brings a 21st century point of view to the humorous side of noir detective fiction. After all, where else but noir fiction can a 56 year old unemployed alcoholic, who still lives with his mother, solve a crime the authorities are convinced has already been solved? It is Christmas time and Tom Mayor has just played a joke on his eight-six year old mother, Lill, Tom, who still lives at home and hasn’t worked in years, announces he is going into the private detective business. To prove his new found skill, Tom discloses the killer in advance of the end of the Thin Man, impressing his elderly mother. Tom thought all of this was funny, especially since his mother cannot remember the end of the movie she has seen countless times. Yet, in typical fashion for Tom, the whole scheme backfires on him.The next morning, ever the good mother, Lill finds Tom his first client , Claire Peterson, the dying elderly woman next door. Claire wants to know the truth about her great-granddaughter’s murder and Tom is just the man for the case.Failure, frustration, and near death do not deter Tom as he solves the case, in Thin Man style.

I'm an author of several standalone psychological thrillers, my latest title in my debut Death Valley crime thriller series is a police procedural with a feisty detective and an anti-heroine who wants her dead. It's hard-boiled, character-driven, and veers towards the psychology of the offender to discover her motives and what has led her to become the ex-assassin's cartel girlfriend. You can read it as a standalone but the series is much more enjoyable if you read it from book one onwards.
