I recently finished my second book, a Crime Thriller called "No Good Son." Check it out here on GoodReads if you're interested. Feel free to hit me up with any question...or just to say hi.

I've spread my Goodreads wings to take a look around (Either the Steampunk mechanical ones, or the leathery demonic ones) and touched down here. I recognise some familiar Mod faces from the 'Shut up & Read' group, so I reckon it's safe to rest up here for a while.

Hi, Ralph. My name is Ed. I began writing novels at 75, that was four years ago. I have now written five. It's a great journey. Have fun! The most difficult part is yet to come...marketing! Oy!

Hi, Ralph. I published my first novel (many years in the writing) last October - at 66. Welcome to the clan.
And the most difficult part is not marketing, it's marketing WHILE writing the next book.

LOL, Alicia. Maybe that's my problem. I am always working on my next book. At just shy of 80 years old, I don't have time to waste; I've got stories that I've been waiting to tell. If not now, when?

I hear you. There are things I want to do - and finish the Pride's Children trilogy is one of them. At least that much, and one complete story would be told.
It should have been ONE book, but it takes longer to tell the story I want to tell, and CreateSpace bindings are limited to some 800+ pages - it wouldn't fit.
If I'd had more patience, I would have waited until the three volumes were finished before publishing the first one. My daughter wants me to write a synopsis of the rest, in case something happens to me!
I feel like Scheherazade - maybe I'll be allowed to finish.

My name is Maria T. Mayer and I released my 1st book, Crone, A Scarlet St. James Novel, originally in Nov. 2015. Had it re-teched and corrected for errors in March 2016. As far as I know, there have been no overtly negative criticisms, and people have shared that they are generally creeped out by the story (yeah!) I wish to make contacts with fellow fiction/horror authors and share my experiences, as well as learn from theirs.

I'm always looking for guest authors to interview on my website at www.ritaleechapman.com. If you are interested you can contact me through the website.
In the meantime, keep writing!

My name is Matthew Drzymala, I am 34 and originally from Manchester but now live in Liverpool. I only really started to write seriously in 2011 but have since released a number of short stories and novellas, mostly set in my Bumpkinton series.
I love to write humour, and my stories are mostly cozy stories. Some say Cozy Mystery without the murder! haha
I mostly read Thrillers and not what I actually write but I find writing lighter stuff suits me better but I do prefer darker stories when I'm reading.

Welcome Matthew! Seeing that youre from Liverpool, tell me youre a Beatles fan. :o)

This looks like a great group to be a part of. My name is Shervin Jamali. My debut novella, "The Devil's Lieutenant," was published on May 30th; I am pleased with the results thus far (fourteen 4 and 5 star reviews in the US). My second book, "Redemption," was published two weeks ago. My writing tends to gravitate towards the fantasy / supernatural genres; adult themes, graphic violence and profanity.
I look forward to interacting with others here and indulging in your works!
