Tito Martínez Barberi is an award-winning author from México City, where he spent many years doing copywriting and translation work.

Tito's experience as a copywriter and translator, added to what Tito himself calls his “hyper-imagination”, inspired him to write the book that you now hold in your hands, dear reader.

The Order of the Ancestors, book three in The Keeper of the Balance series was chosen as the Best Dystopian Book in the 2016 Summer Indie Awards.

Tito's mind spends most of its time in Akaladia, writing the next books in The Keeper of the Balance series.

Excellent question!

I guess I'd like to visit Fantasia, from Michael Ende's The Never-Ending Story, since it's supposed to be home to every single fictional character ever created. I'd probably drown my favorite characters in questions.(less)

“Everything in the universe is a process, and every process takes time. So, all in its due time.”
Tito Martinez Barberi, The Pinnacle of Power

“Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.”
