I was born in Louisville, Kentucky (now living in Greencastle, IN) and have been writing since I was 13 years old. I wrote my first novel Heartsong back in 2004 but have just now gotten it published. I love to read romance, horror, fantasy, suspense and novels about the paranormal as well as listening to music and watching movies. I'm always up for questions on anything so don't be shy even though I kind of am until I get to know people better. I'm continuing to write when I have time but being a mother of a one year old is not easy so I have not posted videos or blog entries for a while. I hope to have new novels out soon. ...more

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I wish the edition that popped up here had the cover of this book because it is what grabbed my attention enough to buy it.

I have read two books by Vincent Courtney. Both of them are YA books updated and reprinted. One of them pretty good and the other one a mess.

This is one of Vincent's more adult books written in 1991 and it Read more of this blog post »

Rounded up to three from 2.5 stars.

Originally written back in 1967 so a few dated references to how boys could get away with more girls.

Lots and lots of golf talk so be prepared.

There is also nothing to make this even suspenseful, so this isn't even

This is the author's only foray into YA thrillers in 1996 as the genre was starting to slow down. Her three other books look like more wholesome fare compared to this.

The cover art draws you in and with a title like Eyes of a Stranger, which also is

Rounded up to three stars.

This book wasn't bad but with my age showing, this wasn't something that would shock many.
