C. M. Struck grew up in Wisconsin and while working in New York City finance for a decade and moonlighting as a volunteer musical theater critic for some of NYC's best venues, he wrote an informal trilogy of novels, following a 25 year old singer in 1940s New York, the coming of age story of a boy samurai in 1600s Japan, and his own pseudo-memoir of juvenile dreams. Each deal in some way with the peaks and pitfalls inherent to the pursuits of fame, perfection of one's craft, and ultimately, love.

His debut novel, Kennig and Gold, was officially released in a second edition in 2019. His second novel, 8, released early 2021. The Sun Never Set released on October 18th, 2022. They are no longer in circulation as of June 2025.
