B C I like the idea of being determined, however, the gist of the book: Don't drift through life or the devil will control you. In fact, he already controls 98% of the population!

The book quotes from the bible and even states that it corresponds with Christ’s teachings. A few differences of the book compared to the bible came to mind as I was reading it:
Book: love gets in the way, but sex it very good
Bible: 1st great commandment Love God and 2nd love your neighbor as yourself
Book: Duty to only yourself
Bible: Lose yourself to serving God and then you’ll find yourself
Book: Marriage should be over if not working well (which happens, on and off, in EVERY marriage)
Bible: Love your spouse like Christ loves you and gave his life for you
Book: Be hard
Bible: Be teachable, meek, and humble

Perhaps this has some small pieces of decent concepts (like determination, faith, and prayer) interspersed with a lot of what the devil feels would be VERY good advice. And trust me it's pretty tricky the way the ideas are introduced...My advice- don't take advice from the devil!

Oh, and it says when you pray, demand what you want. Good grief- what about the the Lord directing you for good, or counsel not the Lord. He obviously knows what's best.

This is just one part of why I disliked this book. I saw a ton of other major concerns related to the way you should bring up children, among other things.

1. Don't ban drinking, sex, drugs but teach them kids it's not good and can cause them to drift. Some sex is ok, just not overindulgence.
2. Kids should make a decision fast and then not change it easily. (As if a kid's first inclination is the best! Yikes!)

Then there's the weird stuff: The devil says he's just as powerful as God and he's the negative part of the electron. And then there's the hypnotic rhythm bull crap. Please! Stupid book by an egotistical man thinking he's providing all the answers, starting his own religion helping us out by 'BS'ing a bunch of crap and saying he's better than 98% of the population and saved because he's so damn determined over everything else in life! Wow!

JewelsO I agree! There are some dangerous concepts in this book for Christian people. The devil says it's only through being determined and putting yourself first that you're saved, but the bible says that the ONLY way to be saved is in and through Jesus Christ, who gave His life for us. BC made great points about the differences of the book vs the bible. We ought to be careful. The devil will give you 10 truths if he can get you to believe one lie! The book is very cunning, but I'm not falling for it. I will be determined and an independent thinker, I just won't fall for the lie. I plan to believe Christ and put him and family and love first instead of myself- knowing he will direct my paths and that is the true way to happiness.

Deshjon Wara The biggest amount of Bullshit ever as part of the 2% that actually think he says the devil is man made at the beginning and then thanks the man who outsmarted the devil to confessing. Doesn't actually say how he gets the devil to confess and if hill has the devil at his knees why is he calling him king. Do we realy believe if the devil were real he would be telling us the truth. Fact is behind most great fortunes lie a huge crime. The Rockefeller family is corrupt as fuck and this book is just selling you false hope to help you believe in this fucked up dumb ass system. There are things holding you back other than your mind. The fact that he said he couldnt release the book because it was to controversial goes to show. And I seriously doubt if he actually did have this conversation and the devil is real that the editor didn't fuck it up to back up her own beliefs. You know her whole metaphor of keep digging don't give up you'll find gold. Well has anyone ever thought of the human construction of value. Gold is just a rock. Literally and diomonds are of among the most abundant stones on earth. "Diamonds are forever". Money is debt debt is slavery having great money just puts you in a better position within all this Bullshit. At the top of the pyramid. Devil got yall fooled. Lolololol the truth doesn't sell it offends. Think outside the matrix. Pay attention to all the little things that may be influencing your unconscious thoughts. And ask yourself are you realy free?

Deshjon Wara And if your looking at this post and thinking about my grammatical errors. I didn't Edit it. I thought it was better that way. That's about the only thing this book taught me.

Deshjon Wara The book has some points I agree with. But that's besides the point. The worst lie is one hidden inside a truth
