Born and raised in Albuquerque, Kyle Burrell-Cowan (also known as Kyle T. Cowan) is an attorney (Colorado, inactive), actor, and writer based in Hamilton, New Zealand.

He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he focused on intellectual property, licensing, and contracts. During law school, he worked with the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project, assisting veterans, particularly those affected by military sexual trauma during the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” era, in discharge upgrade proceedings. He also gained courtroom experience in Arapahoe County Court under the Student Practice Act and worked in corporate and intellectual property focused roles with Cocona Labs.
