I really enjoyed your book, though I had a few problems with the ending. Good, sympathetic characters like yours always help strengthen an author's message. Alas, you put in that epilogue which jumped a number of years in the lives of the two boys (and seemed to gloss over the obvious difficulties they must have faced given their respective parental prejudices), so a sequel might be in order filling in those missing years. Just a suggestion, but I'd read it because I really liked the characters. Good luck with your next project!
