A great point! I felt that the stream of consciousnesses writing sort of broadcast the connectedness of all the characters' lives throughout the generations.
Interesting, I didn't really experience it like that, because the chapters were so obviously a new character each time, I would say don't use chapters like that, if you really want to run all the characters through eachother, but that would maybe become too confusing.. :')
