The names make me smile (though often I turn the book in multiple directions as I try to figure out how to pronounce them)...it does seem the names in Finishing School are a bit more out there than the Parasol Protectorate ones. I'm naturally assuming it was because the Georgian period was all stuffy and Queen Victoria appreciated a good hyphen which is why The Finishing School is so fun...and then later down the road hypens fell out of fashion (I blame the very long mourning period of Queen Victoria)
