This whole thing regarding to Cooper and Hemingway is in the spanish edition (and it was in Aspen, not in NY; my mistake). And I didn't know all you explained about James Dean, I only had three lines in the spanish edition's epilogue. I think it's even worse now... I'm still thinking it is too much. What is next? Where was Pino on 9/11? And Kennedy? He never met Kennedy and warned him not to go to Dallas?
