Ah, thank you for answering my question, Ms Kim. I asked my question when I had just finished reading that part. . . but before I had actually read the end of the book.
If you do ever bump into any one of these men as they grow to be North Korea's elite (beyond being simply the sons of the elite) then that would be fascinating to hear about your interactions with them at that point.
