May I also point out that the judge in question was presiding over a civil case, whereas the charge of treason was brought against Fletcher under military law? The judge only had Low Justice authority (commoners), not High Justice (nobility) nor Martial (military court). Plus... The charge of treason wasn't laid against Fletcher until AFTER the Didric case had been closed.
