Alzada Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question; you have no idea how excited I was to see that you replied. In my opinion, the military coup to overthrow Salvador Allende is something that even the most advanced history textbooks tend to ignore. I am a history addict and knew absolutely nothing about it until I read Ariel Dorfman's "Revenge of the Magical Rabbits." An unbelievable amount of blood was shed in just a day, and many political protesters that were silenced by him are still unidentified, their remains still being uncovered in the Atacama desert. I've only begun to scratch the surface of this era of political unrest, and I would love to see someone as articulate as you weave a story to make a new generation more aware of history. After all, it does have a tendency to repeat itself.
