EpicCherry I think I can live with that. It's somewhat tragic, how she keeps living on, young, but as you said it's bittersweet, because they DID have their time to love and be with each other. I think that will be good enough for me. They get their chance, and they enjoyed it the best they could (or so it sounds).

Abby Rose I'm glad. I actually like the book ending more than the film, truth be told. There was actually a deleted ending similar to the book (Tristran grows old while Yvaine remains young, but they have children with Tristran on his deathbed, whereas in the book he and Yvaine were unable to have children)

EpicCherry Is the deleted ending one by the author and can be available elsewhere to read or where is it from? It sounds like something I'd be really interested in after I read Stardust.

Abby Rose Oh no the deleted ending is from the movie; you can find it easily on the dvd. My copy has it anyway...
