Angela Blount Non-fiction is like a literary gateway drug. ^_^

Good luck to you! I bet Patrick Rothfuss would make a great mentor toward a fantasy endeavor--he certainly speaks highly of you.

message 2: by Rob (new)

Rob Oh my goodness, I can't imagine the delight/horror that would be having Patrick Rothfuss as a fiction-writing mentor. "Well, first you should read these Norse Eddas, and here are five books of Anglo-Saxon poetry, and then we'll take a gander at some non-Western material... oh yes, yes, you can keep writing, and you'll be ready to polish that final draft in seventeen years!"

message 16: by Ryne (new)

Ryne I think that'd be awesome.

message 17: by Keith (new)

Keith Jones Just don't lose track of your narrative focus and remember to edit. Is this paragraph really necessary? Is this entire chapter more-or-less padding? The first draft is like the block of wood. Editing is the process of whittling it down into the actual work of art you were going for in the first place. By the time you're done, you should have a huge--and I mean huge--pile of shavings on the floor.

message 18: by Jacob (new)

Jacob McConnell Can I pre-order it now?

Saverio Conti you are unable to write a scifi book cause you never studies scientific subjects and you are dumb as a 3 year old so please prevent that disgrace to happen..

message 38: by Amanda (new)

Amanda I honestly think if you attempted it, it would come out to be the most epic sci-fi/fantasty book. I would read it!

message 39: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Harbour I'll bet Felicia would do well with sci-fi comedy, in the vein of Douglas Adams. Sorry but I couldn't read serious stuff from this author. Talented, yes, but not heavy or dark. An option is YA sci-fi. Oh, boy, that genre sure could use a shakeup. All these mazes and hunger...ugh. It's all rubbish imo.

message 40: by Jake (new)

Jake Gnow Maybe something like The Guild vs. Zombies from Mars.

message 41: by ree (new)

ree DO ITT

message 42: by Rosie (new)

Rosie B Please do this!

message 43: by Kayla (new)

Kayla Williams Felicia I finally was able to read your book (in 2 days) and I loved it. It brought back many of my early gaming memories of playing WoW starting in open beta to mid 2005. (my addiction was ended when my ex deleted my high level hunter :(. Anyways I'd love to see something from you like what you did with Tallis and Dragon Age. Dragon Age is my favorite series and I loved the web series you did with Tallis. But I'm sure I will love anything you write! :)

message 44: by Kristine (new)

Kristine I would read that! :)

message 45: by Carly (new)

Carly Crusade Yes please!

message 46: by Krystal (new)

Krystal Please do!

message 47: by Blakeley (new)

Blakeley Anything that you'd write in those genres would be amazing. I hope you do!

message 48: by Michael (new)

Michael see non-fiction takes longer cause it actually happened and you want to get it right and include people that matter to the smallest degree, sci-fi/fantasy comes from the more controlled mental energies area of the brain that you have in deep supply...remember the drawing points for the intended audience, and don't be afraid to experiment with content, we never know what quirky plot twists and amazingly spicy dialog/thoughts your characters will express next

message 49: by Maddie (new)

Maddie Harrington I really hope you write another book! Your first was just too lovable. Please continue writing :)

message 50: by Ami (new)

Ami E. Bowen I'd love to read an urban fantasy series by you. :)
