Thank you so much for the mental picture. I love being able to walk around in my favorite books and see where my friends hang out.
I had a pretty similar picture in my mind from reading the books, but for some reason I had it firmly in my mind that the corridor to Hawking went off to the left. I'm now going to have to do some mental re-adjustment on my next re-read!
