Alas, I'm too busy being socially unacceptable on Facebook, the author's nemesis.
David, writers are not allowed to have real lives! Surely you know that by now. Look what happens to GRRM whenever he is photographed doing something besides writing; he gets a ton of complaining letters. It is not that I want you chained in the basement as you work on the next book in the Star-Cross'd series. I'd be okay with your coming upstairs for meals and maybe to sleep at night.
Don't feed the tabloids, Sharon. "Penman desires Blixt chained in basement, except to sleep." It just writes itself.
That is wicked funny, David. Maybe a scandal would bump up our sales? PS to Goodreads readers. See how funny this writer is? Not surprisingly, so are his characters.

But that's not a terrible idea. We should leak details of our torrid affair, then get into a public twitter feud. That's how marketing works today, isn't it?
