J Edward Tremlett Thanks for answering my question! I like second person, myself, given its potential for intimate immediacy. It's just that some people (by which I mean "a lot of editors") consider it box office poison, perhaps unfairly.

And I like the idea of the Director haunting the book. There's a lot of ghosts in this trilogy, in one form or another.
