I am glad Nicole is coming back! Her story was left up in the air. The way you developed each woman's story and motherhood makes sense. For me personally, I had my boys young and was faced with a hysterectomy at 27, was divorced shortly thereafter. Became a grandmother at 45, remarried at 47 and widowed at 52. I just turned 60 and not sure where this last chapter will take me but God leads me day by day.
On a side note, your books have gotten me through a lot! I was just accepted into the review crew 2 years ago. I broke my back, had surgery and in a rehab facility for 6 weeks learning how to walk again. When my friend brought me your first book for me to read was perfect timing. It felt like I just had a visitor from Fool's Gold and catching up on the gossip. You saved my life. One is busy for about 3 hours a say in rehab, then nothing. The long hours in between were some of my loneliest times in my life. When your books arrived I think I cried. Oh, I read a lot of other books...but I am so invested in Fools Gold, it was God's answer to prayer. You touch us so deeply and I for one, I am so grateful for your gift of writing. BTW I live at the base of the Sierra foothills and Nevada City could be Fool' Gold.

Oh, Dona, I cannot tell you how much that means to me. I'm having a hard time typing right now, with tears in my eyes. I'm deeply touched and honored that my books helped you through such a terrible time in your life. I'm going to think of you tomorrow as I write. (Today I'm too busy answering Goodreads questions! LOL) But tomorrow, you will be in my heart, and there will be love in the pages meant especially for you.
