Kim Horner Someone has gotten the electricity going. That's what Clark shows Kirsten from the air traffic control tower.

Dave Should've been more specific in that I was referring to at the airport hangar. With an established settlement there, I'd find it hard to believe that someone wouldn't have had the capacity to get the electricity going.

Kim Horner I wonder if people years from now will wonder that same thing about our inability to develop clean energy. Maybe that absence is a comment on human nature?

Francene Carroll I don't think it's surprising that the survivors at the airport didn't find a way to generate electricity. They couldn't even manage to find their way outside the airport in two decades and continued to live under sheets on the concourse. The only conclusion I could come to by the end of this book was that there was a direct correlation between immunity and IQ.
