this represents God, who is perfect. Edmund represents fallen humans who are sinful.
NOT me! I would NEVER trust Edmund. Plus, Aslan lead Peter, his siblings, and all of Narnia to victory.
Edmund learns from his mistakes, and can be challenged. Unlike Aslan, who is beyond criticism and, judging by the terrible events which he allows occur and for so long, clearly does not have anyone else's best interests at heart.
Edmund was a kid, for God's sake. He had insecurities. And besides I loved him as the series progressed! Especially in the movies.
