I wouldn't recommend House of Night.
house of night is one of my favorite vampire series. I love vampire acadamy, but house of night beeats!
House of Night was okay near the beginning but near the endish, it got...eh. My opinion though, it's okay
Also the Talisman series by Brenda Pandos
Start with
for I agree this was a great trilogy. Brenda Pandos did great with The Talisman series
