Gayle Patti,
Nice review. I agree with your perspective. I, too, believe it's all about forgiveness and a person's relationship with God. When people start connecting this story with Biblical principals, they miss the beautiful message.

When I read the book I believed it was a true story, and when I found out it wasn't, it changed my perception of the story. Had I simply read it as a story I would have had a very different feeling afterwards. Maybe I need to reread it.

Evelyn Bethune This is a wonderful, FICTION, Christian novel. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. and over the last 4 years i have read it several times and with different book clubs. Everyone finds it engaging.

Deana Kilpatrick I to enjoyed the book and had the same perspective. It's like reading your Bible in a way. Some of it is confusing but as you read you feel an understanding of what the writer is trying to get across to the reader. Once I got into the book it was hard to lay it down.

Colleen I agree....I think it was a unique experience to see how someone else sees the Trinity.

Cathy Loved the book!!!

Jeannie Hudson Very abstract and thought provoking. A
bit hard to get a handle on but that's
the author's intent.

Susie Spizzirro A beautiful, fictional story of great loss, heartbreaking sadness and feeling of guilt at the loss of a child. I read it in one day. Loved it, cried, laughed and held my breath whiletears rolled down my face when I read the part about the trunk of the car.

Tamatha Knauber I did not like the book at all! Thought the images were completely stupid and senseless!. I fail to see any Biblical principles here at play! I would not recommend this book for any true Christians who is into reading the Word!

Tammy It may be interesting for me to go back and read this book again. I read it when a friend gave it to me during a time of great loss, in hopes I'm sure that I'd find it healing. It was not at all healing for me. I think I'd recommend it as a novel but not for spiritual or emotional healing.
