Please note that, despite having an author account, I use Goodreads primarily as a media for shameless exploitation of literary tastes found around and enjoying books.

Feel free to recommend a quality reading, a good cinema piece or initiate conversation which lacks humdrum features.

Flo Oh, well. I have failed, anyway. You've already read everything.
Good luck with Mr. Gorey and hope you find some Benedetti soon.

Flo #1. Hello, Alexander, human being that actually has read my intentionally annoying "About me". If I have to be honest, I'd have to say that I don't remember a single story about that book, just some odd little drawings. Since I'm always honest (or try to be): I don't remember. And the fact that I didn't write a proper review about that book doesn't help me at all. "I'll probably forget all about it and this is what people are going to read for months", I sure know myself. But I gave it 5 stars, so apparently I really loved it...

#2. I'm horrible at recommending books. It's so much pressure. Most people don't like what I like and my memory is quite weak (not an age thing, I was just born that way). So... Um. There's a little FD/Kafka in everything, even in Borges' work (not the writing but the themes; he had a very personal style) and Benedetti's Poemas de la Oficina. Also Gogol, Pushkin's short stories and poetry, Pessoa's The Book of Disquiet and poetry, Lermontov's A Hero of our Time, Zweig's short stories, Hesse's Steppenwolf... I don't know. I'm sorry. Did I mention that I'm bad at recommending books?

My lady, I must admit to feeling a bit humbled in view of kindness behind your own words, undeserving as I undeniably feel of them, though still not above shyness to an extent where I would omit visiting your profile again, and, indeed, thoroughly enjoying myself watching all the cat images present there. :)

Flo I must thank you, kind sir, for the response you gave to my challenge question. One of the most original and detailed answers I have ever read.
Friends, cookies and movies. Oh yes, you can have it all. See you.
