Zindan is a fiction writer in Urdu language. His real name is Adil Mehmood, but he always like to present his literary work under pen name Zindan. He born and raised in Pakistan and settled in Europe since 2002.

His main area of interest is writing short story fiction in Urdu language. His first book Nagufta /ناگفتہ published in 2018, 2nd book Fareb /فریب with its English Translation "Perfidious" published in 2021, and 3rd book is Dehar /دہر in 2026 .
