I like to listen to music, especially country or classical as I write. I do drink too much coffee and always have chocolate nearby. In the summer I like to sit on my back porch and write in the mornings. My biggest inspiration is to be immersed in stories by and about others. Reading novels is my first choice, of course, but I also like watching a good movie or television show, and I love watching snippets about people's lives on shows like CBS Sunday Morning or PBS.
