Aderes, in Hebrew, means: “the one, who protects”.

Inspired by crime and suspense novels, most of them written by Scandinavian authors. It has motivated her to start writing her own. The beginning of the “writing game” has started with just short dialogues and short stories, completely focused on mental illness and “abnormality”. Then, she switched to longer tales, with leading female characters, which represents what she is looking for when searching for a new book to find inspiration.

It was a relief for me and my issues, because I’ve been sitting quiet for a long time and always avoided serious topics and taboo. Or more likely, I hadn’t had the chance to speak about serious matters like racism or homophobia all around the world with the right people. Now that I have the chance to show my opinions about many important things happening in the world, I can easily put it in my stories.(less)

“I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin, but you begin anyway and see it through no matter what.”
