I am dreadfully sorry for what might be percieved as a hijack of an interesting update on feminism in the arts, but how do you add these Status Updates? I cannot find that option and also am unaware of where to go to with this question...As a feeble attempt to make this comment also relevant for you, I have one suggestion which is not recent nor necessarily experimental (isn't every new song an experiment?), I would suggest giving a listen to Tango With Lions ("In a Bar" is a good place to start). The singer, of the gloriously Feminine nature, has an incredible voice and a knack for poetry.

Thanks for the rec - I will check out all of these recs this evening wen I can be in front of quality speakers, ie not at work...As for the status updates - if you are on a PC, go to your main feed page, under your currently-reading list there should be an option for adding a 'general update' - on iPhone app it's on your profile page - a bug button for a general update - hope this helps!
