Soni Achuthan Hi Sushmita and Sneha, here's my opinion about the book:

Thinking, Fast and Slow is a phenomenal book. Yes, it is. Highly recommended from my side. Daniel Kahneman, in this book, has summarized his life's research in thinking and decision-making. It will change the way you think about thinking. He shows the many mistakes one makes while taking decisions, draws conclusions and often charts out better ways to think through the problems. Obviously a must-read for students or future students of statistics, it will give you a much better understanding of correlation, regression and other tools and concepts, things which even our text books can't do. I must forewarn you though that the stuff is quite abstract. So unless you are a super-geek or an expert in statistics, you may not be able to read the book in just a few sittings. Its easy to read a couple of chapters in one go at most.

Good luck.
