This feels kind of cheap, because I don't hang around here like I used to, but some of you might be interested that I have a new album out today on Zeromoon records. It's a single composition of long form electronics and field recordings, split into 6 sections - when you download it it will play through as intended. Thanks and happy reading too!

I find little crossover between experimental/IDM/Braindance music and literary/experimental fiction worlds, whether among the artists or the fans. You are a rare exception

I hate to say this, but I find little crossover in experimental music and book readers in general. Something about the musical mind is not working on the same level of the mind that wants to process long/complex/experimental fictions. I might attribute this to the fact that for a lot of the musicians I know, music is their entire life and being. Not a bad thing. But most of their reading is centered around music too.
I studied music when I was a kid, then got obsessed with literature, then got back into making music later on. So it was always a mix with me.

I think it's awesome that you've found something that makes you tick and keep on ticking!
Also, I'm all about experimental music (listening to it, not making it) and experimental literature (which I do make sometimes).

Then we have found another exception to the rule!

I can't tell you how many times in my life this has been said about me . . .

It was different back in the day. Varese composed accompaniment to apoem by Verlaine, while Cage himself wrote poetry. Burgess composed too and his stuff even got played in Europe from time to time. Something must have changed since then

That's some good, relaxing stuff there. I especially like the old-timey TV interlude. Has a certain pathos to it, in a weird way.

Thanks for downloading it man! Mucho appreciation!
