For those of you don't know, MyWOT is an extension for Chrome/Firefox, where you can rate websites. I have it activated, and my browser tried to block me from going on the site after seeing the poor rating. (It normally does that for websites with viruses, spam, adware, or just ones with extreme views, such as Stormfront. Basically the ratings come from the community who use it.)

Comment 1 - Warsnit (Dangerous (Red) Rating): The purpose of this site seems to be to incite hatred against certain named individuals who have given bad book reviews to a small handful of authors.

Comment 2 (Positive (Green) Rating) - iJewda: Censorship much? You people need to get over it and stop down rating sites based on your own selfish whims.

Well, it's pretty positive from what I can see. The only 'bad customer experience' comment I can see is just from somebody who prefers using another GoodReads-esque website. You-know-who or her minions haven't gotten to it... yet.

You can always view cached pages, i.e., through Google. I'm quite sure this gives them no traffic whatsoever.

Last update was today Lyn. The jist of it said that they will be updating it on a weekly basis from now on and to thank all of their supporters (supposedly it got 11,000 hits since it launched but I couldn't see a counter and I'm assuming most of those hits were not from supporters but from reviewers and writers who were appalled by it).
It also said that all comments are monitored and it is up their discretion to keep comments on or delete them.

The enormous RIDLEY in the word cloud should be a massive hint that most of the traffic came from me tweeting a link to my page.

While I get the rationale behind not giving the nutter the attention she so obviously craves, I felt it was important to let her know that it was going to be business as usual in Ridleyville. I wanted her to know that she doesn't scare me, and I'm not changing my ways.

I really don't think anyone in their right mind would support this sort of thing. And if they are they really have some issues. Even if they think you guys are bullies, which you're not, people should know better than to "fight" bullying with more bullying and violating people's rights.

And seriously someone needs to get whoever wrote on that site some help. Surely, her or their family/families know that something is amiss. And despite what they say in their FAQ about not having any attention of harming anyone, the site is still stalkerish. For someone to dig into someone's personal information is a warning sign if anything that a screw or two is loose.

I just wanted to say that reading Seraphina last night kept my mind off things (and also kept me up waaaaay too late once I got to all of the big reveals), so I wanted to say thanks for that and thanks for sending hugs as well. : )

Erg, Searock's comment is very hilarious. When I first started getting into YA, I commented on someone's thread that I would not be reading "Beautiful Disaster" because of the links provided. Someone named Jenny jumped all over me, and Searock backed her up. Lucy was the one who supported me, because I was ready to leave GR after that incident.

If it was just one person doing this that would be sad, but that there are people who are actively supporting this sort of behavior disgusts me. Some people clearly have no idea what bullying really is, and no awareness of how their own actions put the lie to their self proclaimed "victim" status.
