My friends! This week has been mind-bogglingly busy, so reading has been in far too short a supply.

Allow me to live vicariously through you and tell me what the best thing you read this week was, or what you're looking forward to reading this weekend.

Paula W Looking forward to finishing Buckeye. I’m about 30% in and it is great so far.

Sean Gibson Excellent! I’m glad someone’s getting some reading done!

Erin Hmmmm. I don’t know that I’ve read anything I loved this week, despite having read parts of numerous books. I convinced my book club to read THE ELEMENTS by John Boyne and I have high hopes for that.

Charlton I'm 60% through Nettle and Bone I'm having fun with it. Granted, the 1st 20% I didn't know if I would finish or not. But now it's a good read with comedic relief.

Sara Jesus I finished Victoria Psycho is it that I really good suprise. Especialy because I do not such a horror reader. But I did enjoy this book, because was so weird , creepy and gothic.

message 8: by Shannon (new)

Shannon I'll finish When the Cranes Fly South by Lisa Ridzen, admittedly I have been putting it off, it is such an honest and heartbreaking account of an elderly man and I have only been able to do small bits at a time.

That sounds like a tough read, Shannon!

Zee 👻 I’ve been sick but finally feeling better and Anathema by Keri Lake is now my entire personality. Amazing world building, very dark and gruesome, lovely writing. I’m only halfway but I don’t know what could happen to make it NOT 5⭐️’s. Alchemised is coming out soon and I heard it’s very dark but I’m here for it.

I'm sorry you weren't feeling well, but I'm glad you're on the mend!

Dark, gruesome, and lovely writing sounds like a winning combo!

José Tovar I haven’t been reading much, time has not being a friend, but in the moments when I can I’m reading “Noticias del Imperio” or “News of the empire” by Fernando del Paso, it’s the story of the second Mexican empire but told by an already crazy Charlotte of Mexico, it’s pretty awesome.
