Let’s see if he can nail the ending.

I’ve just finished up a conversation between two of the main characters and the biggest gripe I have is that, although the ideas they cover are interesting, they don’t really have a unique manner of speaking to differentiate between the two. Halfway down a page, in the middle of a conversation, and I could not tell who was speaking just from their verbal mannerisms.

Some unexpected turns, some reveals, and action coming up.

Luckily, no Mary Sue shenanigans going on.

Tight military procedural, so far.

Much better than the first book!
