Man, I love reading Walter Moseley's books. He has a real knack for roving some of the most interesting characters. And the social commentary is simply extraordinary

Man, this book takes me back to my youth growing up in NYC and navigating around the 5 boroughs.

"At the age of twelve, the bookish, sensitive boy was sent to St. Paul's , the exclusive prep school nestled below the foothills of the New Hampshire's White Mountains, on the outskirts of the state capital of Concord." John Gilbert Winant and I attended the same place in different eras!

As a student of history, I heard of this work from an old school chum of mine and I thought I would indulge my thirst for knowledge.

good stuff. Like this guy's writing style.

A most tantalizing look at one of the great conspiracies of the 20th century!

really good stuff so far. well documented. the author explains the actions of the people who populate the life of Ted Williams which provides a very insightful look at the man and his times. This is a must read for sports fans!

Great read. If you are a baseball fan and s student of history this is a good book to pick up.

This has been a fascinating read so far! Having seen James Brown numerous times at the Apollo, I under stand the man's musical genius even more!
