That was some boring and bad stuff. Two super short chapters about one page each on the equipment of a whale-boat and then a longer one where one of the high ranking sailors abuses an old black cook. That shit sucked.

Some beautiful language again amid a lot of nautical information.

Been a while since I’ve read this. Mostly cause this story with Steelkit and like 10 other characters who we’ve never met and probably won’t be mentioned again is so fucking boring. Finally finished that part , it’s so long!
