I wasn't sure I liked Ethan, but thought I was being unfair because I feel like we haven't had much time with him, or since he has history with Hannah and we don't get to see it unfold and we're just told they have it and just take that as it is felt a bit flat to me idk we don't see him much as a character outside him loving her. So I kept my judgement. But now i can say I don't particularly like him, no.

Hannah and Gabby's friendship truly is the highlight of this book in both timelines. I love how their friendship is portrayed. This book shines because of them and not the romantic interests for me.

Oh... This scene with her parents... Ouch I felt it in my core and it's so well written I'm kinda stunned at how real this feels. I still can't get in my head how they would leave her behind, they literally chose one daughter over another and that just... Doesn't sit well with me.

I'm already tired of the cinnamon rolls and according to the reviews it doesn't get any better 😭 pls I don't care about the rolls, does she like anything else?? I'm so much more invested in the other timeline, there's no comparison lmao
