As we take this time to reassess history it is important that we do not confuse the cancellation of culture with the need to see history as it was done not just how it has been written and told for generations. Individuals like Columbus, the Pilgrims, George Washington, Hellen Keller, etc did great things, but their ideas weren’t always perfect and neither were their actions. Also, they weren’t the only ones.
