A well told biography of a little-known man. Given the astonishing scope of his activities (including material/substantial involvement in the electrification of America), and his relentless pursuit of immortality and legacy, it is surprising how few know of him or his Deep Springs College.

On to the history of the College.

Education dedicated to the common good. OH, to have more Universities pursue this philosophy.

I'm withholding judgment on the book until I see how this court case turns out. Perhaps it is a sign of great literature that I am still undecided whether I will love or hate the story... but am still motivated to complete the book. Compelling, after reaching the 50% mark in my Kindle. Up until then there is a massive, massive amount of character development. much of it pays off in the end.
