Book 2 out of 3, "Gormenghast" - 4/5. So much better than the first book. I don't know if after 700 pages I have just become used to Peake's style of writing but this felt so much easier to read and so much happened! Damn son, looking forward to the last of the three now!

Book 1 out of 3, "Titus Groan" - 3/5. This would be a 3.5 if Goodreads could do a half star. A very strange book in which both nothing and a lot happens all at the same time. Was enjoyable but sometimes found myself losing concentration because Peake can spend what feels like 10 pages describing something as simple as a chair. Im interested to see where this is all going as the series continues.
