Enjoying it so far. Some of the writing isn't great, especially when describing what someone's wearing. Instead of just saying it's all one colour, Martin goes through the wardrobe: black boots, blacks leggings, black armour, black cape and his helmet was..... wait for it..... black! (I paraphrase there, but you get the drift).

After reading quite a few bad indie titles I was almost not surprised by the colon abuse and poor punctuation in the first pages of this traditionally published work by a Pulitzer prize winner... a quick goodreads search and my mind is put at ease.

Chapter 1 of Dead Reign: Lament for the Living just went to the beta group...

I can't read any more of this. It almost got promising.... and then didn't.

If I didn't know that this was a "proper" published book I'd have thought it was an first go indie. Typos, continuity and chronological errors.

This was originally released in 1991 and it shows. Could really do with some major updating.

A great reimagining of Greek mythology. With a number of twists this was an enjoyable read.
