A very easy book to read, but full of all sorts of magic, wonder, detachment, and enchantment, sadness, happiness, joy, pleasure. I think it’s a book about how detachment kills us how How oversimplification destroys us.

Brilliant brilliant pair of books, easy to read and absolutely timeless - history repeats over and over

It was a lovely book very enjoyable and interesting, but the writing had some awkwardness with the protagonist forever flouncing and flinging and laughing like a hyena. The ending was very romantic but perhaps a bit too perfect

An exceptionally good book

Amazing Novel, so sentimental and beautiful

Extremely confusing prologue which requires you to go over sentences again and again because they are internally inconsistent and inconsistent with each other. Giving me a headache so far. I don’t find this good writing. This kind of obscure confusion is unpleasurable. Better writing is when you can actually communicate something not when you speak in a bizarre code.
