I love these silly little books. It’s like a double layer mystery because you’re trying to solve the crime but also the elderly narrators are all wildly unreliable so you’re also trying to figure out what’s happening 🙃

Ok I got to the part about the Obama/Biden McCain/Palin presidential race. One of you needs to read this immediately so I have someone to discuss with! 😮‍💨

This book is terrifying, lol. I just got through the part discussing the Christian/evangelical tenet of the dichotomy between men’s insatiable need for sex and desire to keep women ‘pure.’

I appreciate how this is presented in a very matter-of-fact way, because usually books like this come across a bit fear monger-y. Also, I used to love John Wayne so this makes me reevaluate all his movies 😭

Ok second half is way better

I have returned this to the library twice already because my check out ran out 🤣 trying to power through this time

I put this book off for too long and now it’s due at the library in 4 days 😮‍💨
