This book begs to be read out loud.

Some readers might get frustrated because Rae's thoughts are chatty and sometimes take her a minute to get to the point. Because of this, I guess you'd say the pace of this book is slow. But I feel like I'm best friends with Rae, and I love the way she thinks.

This one is really good. I'm very much enjoying this one. Going to take this one slow and read it outloud to the kids because it would be a crime not to share this one.

Another book I should be reading out loud to my kids. Kind of fun so far.

so far it's an interesting YA fantasy. I've never felt this way before, but for some reason I wish the main character was a girl. I don't know what that's about, but other than that, I'm enjoying this.
