If you can withstand the long excerpts of Bryson informing his audience about Appalachian history, forestry, flora, fauna, and fauna attacks (not to say they’re not entirely boring) then this is quite a comical and entertaining piece of hiking literature!!

This is such an amazing, underrated book!

I am falling in love with Chekhov and with Russian literature!

Not even halfway through the book and I'm already loving it way better than the Stanley Kubrick film!!
