Years ago, I was given the Shack as a gift, but I was rude and asked them if I could get a different book (all because Mark Driscoll said it was heretical). I'm enjoying this book so much that I know I'll end up picking up the Shack, as well. Reminds me a lot of C.S. Lewis, personally. Oh and speaking of Lewis...wait...I won't spoil it. :)

Very concise description of the visions in Daniel. There were a few things I felt that could have been better (including mentioning the toes and such), but it is a great foundation to help people understand the partial preterist view, as you see how little of a stretch it takes to see what has already been fulfilled. :)

So far, so good! I enjoyed the teaching on Matthew 24-25 and the introduction to what Victorious Eschatology means. Like I said before, it's very similar to "Raptureless", but that's not a bad thing. :) Starting on the teaching of Daniel's prophetic messages.

I like the way this book is set up. It's making my excited to get into the Works of Josephus when I am done (and thanks for that, babe). :)

Seriously. If any of my friends are dealing with lust or sin issues, please pick up this book. You're not going to regret it. This is the book I wish I would have read years ago.

His section on the Prodigal Son was incredible. I feel like the book is progressively getting better.

My only issues are nitpicky; overall, this is a long overdue book in the Christian market. Instead of relying on "Every Man's Battle" garbage, this emphasizes the TRUE freedom that came from the Cross. I'm expecting to be finished by the end of the week.

I like it, but I feel this would have been more impactful months ago. I don't think I have ever underlined a book as much as this one, though; not even in school (apart from a book report I did on "Simply Jesus").
