In Paris, not the best hotel, but Paris. Their son has no interest in bonding.

We meet Tori Spring, sixth form student and a little awkward. Quote “I think Harry potters a bit shit to be honest!” Is the best quote! After following post it notes she meets a boy who says someone else is looking for her. The boy who is looking for her is Lucas, her former best friend from primary.

Enjoying to run but not when competing. Gets lost but doesn’t feel lost but has that urge to leave. Making them feel not invisible.

How short an add break is and think about the mind of someone with autism. The way he compares himself to that of an ad is fascinating.
Not feeling able to take clothes off when it’s hot must feel awful.

Sales are everything - if it doesn’t sell, it vanishes. Thinking about that, there must be so many books that have been written, not being very popular and just disappeared. It makes me sad thinking that so many books don’t exist, are no longer important, just because they’ve stopped selling.

It’s hard to believe that a person with autism, given the choice to be ‘normal’ would ever say no. But to them, what is normal is who they are and how they think and do. To change them would in most cases not make them feel normal. As he says in his answers, it’s about living with autism and understanding it.

A fascinating insight into autism. How I have never thought about what is going on inside their head. Honestly how completely blasé I have been about it.
