It’s very strange to be half way through a book and not dare go any further, as I’m happy with the story I’ve just read and don’t see what else could be added to it. I may read the other side some other time. I was ready for a Victorian novel and I got that now. I’m not sure about LA in 1939. I’m afraid to hear the other reviews though, don’t want any spoilers! Oh what to doooooo!!!!?
